Colyford Concert It was a was a very enjoyable experience giving a concert at Colyford Memorial Hall, Devon, in November. The event was very well organised (sandwiches & cake were excellent) and the audience listened intently to our music. Charlie recorded the concert in stereo, then it was back to the studio to select and master a few of the tracks to make this album. You can stream tracks from the album or you can download them free.
High-tech Slidings, track 8, is a free jazz composition by Charlie. The score, in red below, is in the form or a poem. The poem gives fairly precise instructions to the performer whilst leaving a lot of freedom of choice. On this recording the audience kindly helps us out by adding the sounds of their favourite animals in section 5).
