This tune reached number 20 in the UK charts in 1998, when it was adopted as the theme for the world cup.

Around that time we were playing a Sunday lunchtime gig in a pub in Combwich, Somerset. Blisfully unaware to the increased exposure of the tune, we launched into it only to hear a quiet little voice in the corner say Oh not that again, I only came here to get away from the football.
