Steam.
The mill has several working steam engines.

They are stationary engines; they stay in the same place, not like a steam train for example which runs along a track.

They can be connected to the overhead line shaft to drive the machines on the factory floor.

The steam engines can be powered by burning wood or coal.
Nowadays we use only waste wood - a sustainable source of energy.

The tall chimney, which was recently repaired with the aid of a helicopter, takes away smoke from the boiler of the steam engine.
