"Chanson a texte" refers to a song with lyrics that merit the close attention of the listener.

We have chosen songs by Piaf, Brel, Brassens, Trenet and some of our own songs in French.

We augment these with a few classic French instrumental tunes and some jazz.

The concert has a broad appeal to people who like France and things French.
